FINALLY! Something that might be worthwhile!!!!

BENABLE You need a code to sign up, so here's mine: GTEEA at www.benable.com

My Benable experience thus far has been easy and smooth. I literally just did it, so no earnings yet. But, this one looks promising. It was actually fun to set up and so easy to navigate.

Here is what your profile page will look like:

So, how do you set it up? It is so easy I can run you through it here.

After you have signed up, navigate to your page by clicking your profile icon at the top righthand of the page. Click on profile page, then start adding lists. At first I was plugging in urls, which you can totally do. However, if you use their search you may be able to find sites with affiliate links faster. So, I used their search first and if I didn't find the exact product I wanted - then I plugged in the url. THIS NEXT THING IS VERY IMPORTANT! When you are adding things, you MUST check to see if affiliate links are available for the site/product. If they aren't, you will not get any commission.

For example, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Hide & Drink. Hide & Drink does not allow affiliate links, so posting their products to Benable will not benefit me monetarily. See below where I highlighted the area you need to review before adding a product to a list. You have to be sure you can auto generate your affiliate link or else you are just sending customers their way for free (if you want to do that, great - just wanted to call this out, as I am here to make some cash).

PLEASE NOTE THE SITES/PRODUCTS THAT ARE NOT AUTO-AFFILIATE AVAILABLE!

Honestly, that is about it. It is really straightforward and easy to set up.

However, there is one aspect of this I really want to explore further. If you have been following along in my journey, you know I created my company over a week ago and am still waiting on my damn EIN. So, I cannot create all of my Amazon Affiliate, Storefront, Associate, Seller Central, etc accounts yet. IF I was able to, my "plan of attack" would be this:

  1. Go to my personal Amazon account and pull up my orders.

  2. Pull out what I absolutely love and can't live without.

  3. Check those products to see if they allow video reviews that are able to be monitized through Amazon Seller Central.

  4. Pull out all all that I am able to post videos on and make review videos for my faves

  5. Then take those urls and plug them into my Benable lists

    1. *you can only link Amazon to Benable if you have an Amazon Associates ID (see below)

You will see this a lot. If you have an Amazon Associates account, I think you should be able to get the auto affiliate link.

Let me know if you try Benabe and what you think! If you have any questions, let me know!

Today is June 14, 2025 and I jumped on to share my thoughts on the Flip app. I find the Flip app to be a let down. It's definitely a pay-to-play site, for the most part. You have to purchase items from the Flip app and then you are able to review them on the app to earn commission. You earn free items (that aren't horrible!), but you have to spend somewhere around $50 to get your free stuff. So, it's a gamble on whether you will make your money back. Also, the algorithym could use a ton of work. I am seeing the most random and useless posts as I doom scroll and I have been on the app for a few days. In an attempt to see more targeted content - I did a few searches for things I wanted to see and then spent some time watching the vids in the search. I did this a few different times on a few different days (same search each time) and saw the same posts in the same order each time I searched - ugh. So, not only did my main feed not show me anything related to the videos I watched in the search - when I went back to check out new content on the subject matter I want to see, it was the exact same videos in the exact same order. Wtf, Flip.

The other thing that is pedestrian about the app is that there is no in app editing. If you film in the app, you can't edit jack. No text, no filter, no nothing. I think I would be better off just recycling my TikToks onto Flip than creating content just for Flip. Ya know, kinda what we all did on Threads and just copied over our tweets to get 'er going.

One thing everyone is talking about on Flip (that is unique to this platform) are the debates. I did check out a few and it is a pretty cool idea. You can add a debate to your post or create your own debate. People can click over to the debate and post videos with their take on the subject. I may explore this a little further in my next Flip video.

The best way I can describe Flip is that it comes across as the Dollar Store of social media apps. The content is lacking, the creators are vastly of Joe Dirt calibre, and the tech is subpar. Now that I am reading that back, it sounds super harsh. Meh, it is what it is. Maybe it just has yet to take off or maybe I am not getting great stuff since I just joined a few days ago. I am going to keep at it and see if anything gets better. For right now, Flip is ranking pretty low as a quality social media app and also as a potential supplemental stream of income.

If you want to check out Flip, swing by my page and say hi @thatgirlhealy.

Holy Hell Fire. Since I am on pause from doing all the things while I wait on my EIN - I went down the rabbit hole with this site. I published it (against my better judgement) because I needed to some "action" instead of just sitting here like a duck waiting to be shot by Willie Robertson. You think it's a build and publish situtation? Nah. Actually I didn't think it was that easy either, but I am now down the entire meta data rabbit hole and I now have 17 more tabs open since I have had to look up half the shit I am being asked. What if I enter the wrong text for my keywords? What if my descriptions aren't targeted enough...what if they are too targeted? How do you even describe a crazy lady trying to navigate the interwebs for ways to make money leveraging only resources she's stumbled upon using social media, AI, Google, etc? This is a thing, but not really a thing. This website and blog are going to end up in cyber purgatory. Also, this site builder needs a spell check because how tf do you even spell pergatory? Purrrrgahtori.
